Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY: First Playstation Certified Android Smartphone

[NEW GADGET] The biggest selling point of Sony Ericsson Xperia Play is it’s ability to play Sony Playstation One’s title. This is the first time Sony Playstation’s titles are played on anywhere else apart from their console.

One of the latest Android phones (with OS version 2.3), but Xperia Play’s gaming ability is unveiled in the era of casual gaming, dominated by the iPhone. Therefore, it’s impressiveness is probably not so positive. More so when the Playstation titles involved are really made like 10 years ago.

But on the other hand, the Playstation fans might just disagree…

Sony Ericsson Xperia Play is going for S$548 with a two year SingTel plan.
